A dedicated Matrikon Data Broker extension that sends MDB data to the cloud over the MQTT protocol.
MQTT Publisher is a dedicated extension for Matrikon Data Broker (MDB). It takes the OPC UA data MDB has collected, converts the items you select into JSON-format MQTT messages, and publishes them to an MQTT broker. Because it uses the widely adopted MQTT protocol as-is, it connects to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS and Google Cloud — and to any in-house system that speaks MQTT — with no additional development.
The last leg from plant floor to cloud, handled by a standard protocol.
Runs on top of Matrikon Data Broker, adding publishing capability to an existing MDB configuration without a separate system.
Converts the OPC UA data held by MDB into JSON-format MQTT messages and publishes them to an MQTT broker.
Sends data to leading cloud IoT services including Microsoft Azure, AWS and Google Cloud.
Data queuing and data compression improve the data-to-overhead ratio and reduce the raw volume needed to convey the same information, minimizing publishing costs.
Uses OPC UA PubSub compliant JSON data encoding to maximize interoperability and avoid the sustainability burden of custom JSON encoding.
Connects the same way to in-house systems and analytics platforms that support MQTT, not just public cloud services.
